Presentation Formats
Wind Energy: Powering America Forward
3 Presentation Formats: 1. Podium Presentations for Business, Policy, and Technical Topics 2. Podium Presentations for Scientific Sessions 3. Poster Presentations for All Topics
1. Podium Presentations for Business, Policy, and Technical Topics- A session is usually 90 minutes long with 3-5 speakers. Each podium presentation will be approximately 30 minutes in length. Specific time will be determined based on the number of presenters selected for each session. Only one presenter per abstract will be allowed to participate in the presentation and acknowledged in the Final Program. Co-authors can be listed in the speaker's Powerpoint and the final paper. (Standard audio visual equipment in each session room will be provided.)
2. Podium Presentations for Scientific Sessions - A session is usually 90 minutes long with 3 speakers. Each podium presentation will be approximately 30 minutes in length including Q&A, and will also be invited to submit their final papers to a scholarly journal for consideration for publication. Please go to the "Scientific Sessions" to find out more. (Standard audio visual equipment in each session room will be provided.)
3. Poster Presentations - In addition to podium presentations, poster presentations are an extremely valuable part of the overall conference program. Due to the tremendous amount of abstracts we receive each year and the limited number of slots for podium presentations available, we feature poster presentations prominently as a unique way to convey your work, ideas and research.
We encourage you to consider submitting your abstract for poster presentations to take advantage of these unique opportunities:
Displayed during the entire WINDPOWER 2010 Conference and Exhibition
Attended by the authors during a daytime poster session for additional interaction time with attendees
Set up in a prominent location
Given an ample amount of space for easy access
Clustered into subject areas to promote dialogue with interested attendees
Listed in the Final Program
Published in the Conference Materials Poster Presenters will be required to set-up their display on Sunday, May 23 and must be present at the Poster Session scheduled during the conference. Please also note that only one presenter per poster will be acknowledged in the Final Program and will be eligible for the presenter registration discount.
