CALL FOR ABSTRACTS IS NOW CLOSED
This year AWEA received a record number of abstracts from people wanting to present at WINDPOWER. The abstracts we received were impressive in their sheer quantity as well as their exceptional quality. These abstracts will surely yield an exciting, highly-educational conference program at WINDPOWER 2010.
The review process is near completion thanks to a large review committee composed of wind industry experts from various member organizations and companies across the country. The abstracts go through an organized, intensive vetting process to create an objective process that yields the best program possible. We strive to create a fair and thorough review process for the multitude of abstracts we receive. Consequently, AWEA is not accepting any abstracts to speak or present a poster.
The call for abstracts opened in late July and was closed in late September. Please look for the call for abstracts in the summer of 2010 if you are interested in presenting at WINDPOWER 2011. Feel free to review these abstract instruction pages to gather more information about the abstract process so that you are ready to submit when the time comes next year.
All primary authors who submit an abstract will be notified via email on whether or not their abstracts were selected to be presented by late January. Please do not contact us prior to that time as it will delay the process.
