2nd Annual Scholarship 5K Race - Run For Wind!

Join us for some early morning exercise on the historic Katy Trail. What better way to kick-start your final day at WINDPOWER and do some good raising money for the AWEA Educational Scholarship Program at the same time. The funds raised from the 5K race go into the AWEA Scholarship Program which aims to provide educational scholarships for those interested in enhancing their knowledge of the wind industry. Please join us for this fun run!
The 5K race is $50 ($25 for students with a current student ID!)

Awards for runners will be based on overall finish time and age groups. Awards will go to the top 3 overall male and female runners and the first place male and female in each age group. But everyone will get a cool t-shirt for your participation!

Wednesday, May 26: Scholarship 5K Race at Katy Trail (6:30 am)
- Pickups will take place at 5:30 am at the following hotels:
- Adolphus
- Hyatt Regency Dallas
- Sheraton Downtown Dallas
- Hilton Anatole Hotel
- Embassy Suites Market Center
- Radisson Love Field
- Doubletree Campbell Center
- Return service to the specific hotels noted above will depart at the conclusion of the 5K around 7:15 am.
